and amateur sports and media personnel.
Following this Helen travelled to Surrey to run a perfumery and beauty salon creating an on-going love of fragrance. It was on her return to the north east in 2000 she began the Therapeutic Massage Clinic.
Over the years Helen has worked with osteopaths, physiotherapists, chiropractors and doctors building experience in soft tissue injury; post-operative recovery; cancer care; arthritis care; back, neck and shoulder pain; migraine and headaches and stress related illness. In October 2000 she travelled to Bosnia Herzigovena to undertake charity work training nurses and physiotherapists in the hospital in Tesanj. The training was mainly to see how massage and complementary therapies could be used in work with children with cerebral palsy.
Helen has been a trainer in industry since 1997 and a local and national lecturer in complementary therapies since 2001 with clients including St Oswalds's Hospice, Sunderland College and Aston Hotels.
