
The Therapeutic Massage School has been set up to provide high quality training serving the north east of England. The school aims to keep the high industry standards provided by the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) and provide valuable and useable Postgraduate training for qualified therapists in this wonderful part of the country.

Helen has been a trainer in industry since 1997 and a lecturer locally and nationally since 2001.
Established in 1973 ITEC are internationally recognised and are regulated by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority (QCA) on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills. ITEC have always been part of and continue to be in the negotiations to gain government regulation and recognition for those therapists who value their profession and hold ITEC's high standards.
All courses are taught in units with theory and practical aspects. Case studies are completed at home under the supervision of your tutor and presented for internal assessment. On completion of the course students will take a practical and theory examination.

Payment can be made by cash or cheque. A 10% deposit is taken on registering and the full amount is due two weeks prior to the start of the course unless otherwise agreed. Aside from the course fees there will be an examination fee nearer the exam date and all students will be expected to wear the school uniform for practical classes.
Extensive class notes will be provided by the tutor and students will need to provide their own study materials such as paper, pens etc.
